PHYLLO PASTRY APPLE ROLL (APPLE STRUDEL) – ..

I’ve mentioned before my love for Two Greedy Italians series. Two Italian trips and their flavors are really enjoyable to watch the chef. (I think now is not being published but can be viewed from the internet.) The blog roll located on the last table, which is one of Antonio Carluccio invite two of the desserts I’ve watched in one of the sections was made by Apple, and immediately entered the list, they will be tried. Antonio told me about your love for Austrian youth in preparing this dessert:)

Prepared with phyllo pastry recipe for both lightweight and practical. On the day I was asked to invitation the recipe, but it is time:) our practical recipe follows;

Ingredients:

For stuffing:

– 3 tablespoons raisins
– Shell, peel and juice of 1 orange
– 4 apples, peeled, chopped into small cubes
– 50g butter
– 100ml water
– 100g caster sugar
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

For the dough:

– 50g melted butter
– 8 sheets filo pastry
– 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Service for:

– Whipped cream

Preparation:

We are preparing for our first. Chopped our apple butter, water and sugar in a pan, until the apples are tender and water is absorbed we’re cooking. Take from the stove and then adding other ingredients and after mixing, to cool down a bit we’ll leave.

Our opening Biskin pastry, cut into a square and brush the edges with melted butter and we bring it with greasing it. Roll the pastry and fold the edges and wrap it around the prepared mortar is shaped from put it on again butter, syrup, and fold over portions of the margin rose in the picture as it is the way we’re trying to do. The roll for this the leaves are opening. After applying the same process all our pastry, the top portion also oil, poppy seed baking for 15-20 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven and we’re serpistiriyo.
